This third demo features the latest version of the PAIN Engine and the latest enhancements from the 1.35 update. You play the Military Base level and will see effects such as heat and haze distortion, per pixel specular mapping, light blooms, shader effects and much more.

Painkiller is a pure first person action shooter supported by an adventure-based plot and is currently being developed for the PC. Adrenaline-pumping gameplay, a gripping storyline, and visually striking backdrops propel Painkiller into a league of its own.
