Last month, Valve set up an official development blog for its popular online first-person shooter, Team Fortress 2, which you can now find at TeamFortress.com.
The blog's most recent update, entitled 'A Heavy Problem' details the various challenges the company must overcome before releasing new weapons and upgrades for a class. It also confirms that the next class to receive such an update will be the Heavy class.
Robin Walker notes that, while “we kept our goals for the [Medic and Pyro packs] pretty close to our chest,” Valve will be opening the process up a little for the Heavy, in the hopes of giving fans “a better insight into how we approach design problems.”
